Toxic Toad
Well, hmm. My father recently got a gigantic smoker for cooking a farm’s worth of animals at once. I mean it. On thanksgiving he cooked 8 turkeys. We ate 1.5, and then I don’t know what he did with the rest of them. I think he gave some away. I don’t know why I am telling you this, so I am going to skip to the very important point of life: he wanted me to make a design of a toad and the bbq. My immediate thought was, “that is what I have been waiting to do for 10 years.” He has the nickname “toxic toad” (I don’t know). He is going to start including himself in bbq cook offs and wanted a sort-of-logo, or something. I made up a design that didn’t satisfy him: a fat and buff toad, very intimidating. He was even pointing at you all bad-ass-like with a futuristic style gas mask. I think he was wearing a no-fear shirt from Nordstroms. Well, we had to go lighter and cuter. So I made a couple more designs for the toad, and after settling on one, he asked that I make the final design have 2 toads, one representing him and the other representing his wife. When finished, I decided to add some clothes and this is what I got: clothed toads in masks, cooking unnecessary amounts of food?
Well I think it worked out. He mentioned getting it airbrushed on the smoker and t-shirts made. That’s some serious cookin!
